The Digital Multimedia Design Program at Harold Washington College is a state of the art comprehensive program, nurturing a new generation of creative professionals.
The program is designed to prepare students for entry-level work into several fields that are based in interactive media, computer graphics, 3D modeling, video production, sound production, animation and motion graphics.
Beyond learning technical skills, students are immersed in the tools and processes of the digital creative industry, developing and producing a variety of projects via various Digital Multimedia applications.
Students are nurtured to develop academic knowledge, technological expertise, critical thinking, communication skills, interpersonal and professional relationship skills, workplace skills, that would help them with effective employability.
After completing HWC DMD program students are prepared technically and conceptually to launch careers/transfer to 4-year programs in the field of Digital Multimedia Design.
