As a Work-Study Web Designer for the Visiting Artists Program at Harold Washington College, I supported the promotion and visibility of campus art events by designing and maintaining digital content on the school's website. My responsibilities included updating the program’s website with current events, artist profiles, event information, and promotional materials. I collaborated closely with program coordinators and faculty to translate their ideas into clear, engaging web layouts that aligned with the college’s visual identity.

In this website titled "The Exotic Sea", I designed and developed an ocean-themed website that combines visual storytelling with educational content. The project features a curated gallery of exotic fish and extinct sea creatures, highlighting the biodiversity of Earth’s oceans through high-quality images, descriptions, and interactive elements. To create the gallery, I organized the content into categories, designed responsive layouts, and embedded images with hover effects and brief species summaries. I used clean, accessible navigation and consistent color palettes inspired by deep-sea environments to enhance the user experience. The site was built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and I focused on performance optimization so that images load smoothly across devices.
