The Pagani Huayra R was unveiled in 2021 by Italian luxury manufacturer Pagani Automobili. Unlike the road-legal Huayra, the Huayra R is a track-only hypercar designed purely for performance. It was inspired by endurance racing cars and created to deliver an intense, raw driving experience. Pagani combined Italian craftsmanship with motorsport engineering to create one of its most extreme vehicles.
The Huayra R defies expectations by focusing on naturally aspirated power in an era dominated by turbocharging and hybrid systems. Its V12 engine produces an emotional and aggressive power delivery while remaining lightweight. Aerodynamically, the car generates enormous downforce through its large rear wing, roof scoop, and extended diffuser, allowing it to corner at extreme speeds. The car behaves almost like a racing prototype, blurring the line between hypercar and race car.
