Laurie Simmons (b. 1949)

Laurie Simmons is an American artist, photographer and filmmaker. Since the mid-1970s, Simmons has staged scenes for her camera with dolls, ventriloquist dummies, objects on legs, and people, to create photographs that reference domestic scenes.

Chris Burden (1946-2015)

Christopher Lee Burden was an American artist working in performance art, sculpture and installation art. Burden became known in the 1970s for his performance art works, including Shoot, where he arranged for a friend to shoot him in the arm with a small-caliber rifle.

Enrico Baj (1924-2003)

Enrico Baj was an Italian artist and writer on art. Many of his works show an obsession with nuclear war. He created prints, and sculptures but especially collage. He was close to the surrealist and dada movements, and was later associated with CoBrA.
