Much of my time is spent covering events all over the city and suburbs, mainly for nonprofit clients whose mission statements resonate with my drive to make this world a better place for everyone. I capture the best of what my clients have to offer, whether it's a formal downtown gala or a multi-day conference bringing speakers and audiences in from all over the country.
Upon delivery of images, I lean toward a higher percentage of top-quality photographs than many of my competitors, as I'm constantly working and checking to be sure that what I capture is worthy of attaching my name and my client's name to the final product.
I spend my summers up at camp, overnight camps and day camps all over Chicago, the suburbs of Chicago, Indiana, and Wisconsin. Photographing kids in action is a true passion and whether it's capturing the best summers of their lives or their favorite memories of preschool, I simply love seeing the world through their eyes.
My focus lately, pun always intended, is on the disabled community or “Special Needs” as I've labeled it on my website. Being a mom of a disabled child has linked me to the needs of this population in a profound way making the work more personal.
I love being a photographer, when I’ve got my camera in hand I can feel the best version of myself shining
