Liviu Pasare

Video Designer :: Animator

Liviu Pasare has a Chicago based practice creating works and visual experiences using new media and technology. He works as a video designer, cinematographer, editor, animator and has produced, directed and performed for live multimedia ex- periences. He has been affiliated with theaters and artists such as Collaboraction, Redmoon, Adventure Stage, Victory Gardens, Teatro Vista, Chicago Children’s The- ater, Blue Man Group, The Seldoms, Lucky Plush, Luftwerk, Claudia Hart, Nick Cave, Bob Faust, among many others.

Liviu received both his BFA & MFA at the School of The Art Institute of Chicago: MFA 2015; BFA 2006.

Liviu’s Video design has been nominated for Jeff Awards for his set “Not for Sale” in 2019 with Urban Theater & for the set of “In the TIme of the Butterflies” in 2016 with Teatro Vista.
