Daniel Salgado

Artist :: Designer :: HWC Graduate

Daniel Salgado is the HWC DMD native, that graduated with the HWC Associates in Arts Degree and DMD Advanced and Basic Certificates in 2022. Daniel was a part of a unique cohort of DMD students that had survived pandemic through taking in-person DMD classes, participating in an amazing creative students community and producing remarkable art work. Daniel’s art work has been published in the two editions of the HWC Garland Court Review magazine: GCR 2021 & GCR 2022.

Currently Daniel works as a creative lead at Concord Press and delivers exceptional communication materials for professionals across Chicagoland.

“I never liked sticking to one single art form, I always tried to explore, practice and improve my art in any way. Now, I get to create work with photography, web design, digital art and traditional art in a print shop. For that reason, I am enlightened to obtain this current position where I am able to help bring other people’s visions to life while also adding my personal art direction.”

We are excited to host Daniel back on campus and have him share his creative success with our current students!
