Photography as Cultural Exploration. Join me for a talk on immersive journalism with vignettes from across the Middle East, Central Asia, Central Africa and Southeast Asia.

Daniel C. Britt graduated from the University at Buffalo and started photographing in New Orleans a few weeks after Hurricane Katrina decimated the city. From there he went on to photograph pieces of the wars in Iraq and Syria; violence in Kenya and the Central African Re- public; and action films in Uganda and Afghanistan. He is currently working on a book about the perception of Western culture through the eyes of Jihadis.
