“In my websites I like to really keep the user in mind, from color choices to font, to even how a button works everything has its place and can really make or break a user's experience. I use websites to dive deep into human psychology with design and functionality and how it can impact the users who visit them. As an artist I love seeing how people interact with the websites and how different functionality can really impact a brand's website I am working on. Another big part of what I do is the coding itself and using my creative thinking skills to come up with interesting solutions to the technical issues intricate designs and functionality require.”
Candice Peters is currently a full stack software engineer at BORN Group where she uses her background in design and technology to creatively debug coding issues and help design ecommerce websites. She uses what she learned in Harold Washington's digital multimedia pro- gram to make user-friendly websites and comes up with creative solutions to complicated problems. She has worked with brands such as David's Bridal, Converse, and Cartier.
